Due to the renovation project, there is no heat in most of the building. Please make sure your student is dressed appropriately. These next couple mornings will feel a little chilly! ❄❄ It's also a bit dusty, so keep that in mind, as well.

8th Grade Graduation is fast approaching!!!
Parents, if you have not submitted 3 pictures to use for the graduation slide presentation, please do so this next week.
Usually a baby picture, and current picture, and one more is chosen to use for the slides.
You can email them to me at dclark@fieldpanthers.com or send the pictures with your child (they will get the original picture back).
The 8th grade students are also completing a Biography Poem. These will be available for you to pick up at graduation and will also be used in the slide presentation.
Thanks
Mrs. Clark

We hope you have all had a wonderful Spring Break! We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow. Please refer to Mr. Stone's email this morning for temporary drop-off and dismissal procedures.

Happy Easter from Ms. George’s 4th grade!

Track practice for Wed 4/13 is canceled due to weather

There will not be track practice on Monday, April 11 due to the afternoon weather forecast! Try to get some work in at home between rains!

There will be no robotics practice this week. Enjoy your spring break!

7th grade planted over 110 plants to help restore a wetland area. Also watched a short film about the Cache River area and history, had a Q and A session, picnic lunch, and some of us braved the cool weather to do a little hiking on the trails. Thank you to Mollie Oliver with Cache River for facilitating our visit and Mr. Stone, Mrs. Landreth, Mrs. Morris, Mr. Pemberton, and Mr. Trinkle for helping to chaperone.

After school parents please pick up your students at the back door today, thanks.

Thank you to Detective Wallace from the Jefferson County Sherriff Department for coming out today to talk to the junior high students on bullying.

I wanted to update you on the process the students are taking to make these wonderful quilt block!
1. Designing the block on paper using crayons or markers
2. Recreating the block using fabric markers and fabric crayons
3. Over spring break, I hope to complete at least 2-3 quilt tops.
4. After spring break, I am hoping to have some students help tie one of the quilts.
I am looking for any volunteers who would like to help tie the quilts and then bind them.
What happens to the other blocks that will not be used in the quilts made at Field School? They will be sent to Love Quilt Project, and they will turn them into quilts.
Field School will contribute to 24 quilts that will be sent to orphaned children!!!
GREAT JOB, FIELD SCHOOL!!!!!

Today's track practices have been cancelled due to weather.

Save the Date! Spring pictures will be on April 22nd. See attached flyer for more info.

Congratulations to Olivia and Calee for being honored at the Illinois Principals Association breakfast earlier this month.
