For over 20 years, Can's Can has been serving teachers and social workers all over Southern Illinois. In the last two openings, 120 teachers in 33 districts were able to come to the resource center and leave with a wide variety of classroom library books, Legos, headphones, and many other high-need items for classrooms at no cost to them. In the last year, the resource center has given away nearly $40,000 in items away and Field staff have benefited from this service. This is only one leg of the stool for Can's Can. They also serve seniors in assisted living facilities and foster kids on the move. As you can imagine, this is a labor of love and something Greg Poole is proud to do.
Hello Field families, school starts in less than a week. My name is Amanda Rincker, and I was hired as transportation director in June. I have been working on bus routes, and there are some changes from last year. I am sending emails out this week to provide families who requested bus service during registration with the following information: bus number, driver, stop location, and approximate times. You should receive an email by Friday. If you did not sign up for bus service and will want it, please email me asap so I can get your student(s) assigned to a route. If you have a change later in the school year, it could take some time(up to 48 hours) to update existing bus routes so please try to plan ahead. Furthermore, the student handbook has been modified, and students are not allowed to ride a different bus other than their assigned bus due to capacity limits. Also, students are not allowed to “ride around” before practices. Students are allowed to be dropped off in the morning starting at 7:30am, and the after school program is available at the daily rate of $7.50/student from 3-5:30pm. The Field Cross Country team has been working hard this summer! After putting in the miles at practice this morning they enjoyed a breakfast, and wrote out their goals for this season. Looking forward to a great fall! Our first meet is 4 weeks from today!

Here is the schedule for the remainder of July for Field Grade School Athletics! Due to floors being waxed inside the building, any sport that uses the gym will be unable to access the gym starting July 14 which is why there are no open gyms scheduled after this week. All schedules are subject to change.
I would also like to remind everyone that practices and tryouts are closed to spectators.
