Cross Country State Meet Update!!!
Due to incoming weather, the races will be moved up 30 minutes on Saturday, October 18! Girls will now run at 9:30am, boys will follow at Du Quoin State Fairgrounds.
There is a $5 admission fee for adults, and $2 for students. No pets allowed!

Field School is looking for a part-time custodian
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. General knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment. Ability to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time. Enforce school regulations and policies in a professional manner. Ability to maintain good working relationships with fellow employees and pupils. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to carry up to 35 lbs. Requires employee to have the ability to push/pull up to 26 lbs.
Type of Employment: Part-Time (20 hours a week)
Hours: 10:00AM-2:00PM or 6:30PM-10:30PM
Compensation Package: Per collective bargaining agreement, salary $16-$19 per hour based on prior experience
Start Date: Immediate

First quarter has come to an end. The elementary students have been learning about fire prevention this week. What better way to end it with some life-action stations in PE!
They had the following stations:
- Helping each other to safety
- Using "water" to put out the fire
- Stop, drop, and roll
- Training their fire puppy
- Getting low through the smoke
- Driving the fire truck
We even had a couple 8th graders join in on the fun!! 🚒
School will dismiss at 11:30 am tomorrow, October 10th. No lunch will be served. After-School Program will not be available. Additionally, there is no school on Monday, October 13th. Have a great weekend, and we'll see you on Tuesday!
P.S. Tonight is Dine to Donate at El Rancherito 5 - 9pm! Proceeds will be used for end of year student fun!
