Hey, Field Families - Just a quick reminder that Spring Picture Day is tomorrow, April 12th!
Mrs. Clark's 1st Grade Class celebrated the Eclipse with Moon Pies and Capri Sun. They also painted shirts to wear on Eclipse Day. Not only did they have lessons on the Eclipse, but they learned about blending colors and how different ways we use the paint brush changes what we see on the shirt.
Solar Eclipse Day, of course Mrs.Miller’s class is going to party! Thanks to the parents for donating the snacks. You have no idea how much I appreciate all you do. 🌞🕶️

Ms. George and Mrs. Dethrow's 3rd grade classes learned all about the Solar Eclipse this morning and made some cool UV necklaces to learn all about the sun's rays! We are so excited for today! 💙💛

Seventh grader Haylee Carter was presented this morning with certificates and a check from the Mt. Vernon Elks Lodge # 819 for winning the 2023-2024 American Essay Contest. She received first place in the 7th grade division and second place at the district level. Great job, Haylee!
