Reminder! Picture day is tomorrow, February 7th. We'll be taking photos of the following sports/groups: Peewee Cheer & Basketball, Volleyball (peewee and JV/Varsity), Bowling, Robotics, Brain Games, FOCAL, Scholar Bowl, Strings/Chorus and Spelling Bee winners. Make sure students have their uniform/instrument/gear with them as photos will begin first thing in the morning.


Field School is excited to announce four of our teachers received grants from the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and United Way. We are excited to see the new projects that were funded by the grants in Mrs. Garrett, Mrs. Hendrix, Mrs. Clark, and Mrs. Woodrome's classrooms.





Due to Rome winning their boys basketball regional and playing at State on Saturday morning there will be no pee wee @ Rome this Saturday. We are working on a rescheduled date and are looking at a week night.

The local competition of Brain Games was held this week at Rend Lake College. The following students represented Field at the competition:
3rd/4th graders- Marleigh Alexander, Jemma Farmer, Bryar Parson, and Gunnar Staley
5th/6th graders-Elizabeth Cooper, Stella Richardson, Nyla Clugston, and Brookstyn Knight
7th/8th graders-Jordy Hayes, Hadley Richardson, Emma Pinkston, and Paisley Ramsey.

Mrs. Hallam and Mrs. Garrett’s classes celebrating the 100th day of school together this afternoon! They did 100’s chart puzzles, stacked 100 cups, made pictures with 100 pattern blocks, used bingo daubers to make a 100 gumballs craft, and had a snack mix. 🥳

Congratulations to the school's spelling bee winners Penny Johnson and Luke Wheeler. They will be competing at the County Spelling Bee on February 12. Go Panthers!

At last night's BOE meeting the Class of 2025 graduation was sat for Thursday, May 15 at 6:30pm in the Field gymnasium. There will be a parent and student meeting held in the school cafeteria on February 5 at 6:00pm to discuss graduation, class trip, and party sponsored by parents.
