7th grade at Carlyle Lake

7th grade enjoyed a field trip on April 21st

to Carlyle Lake for the annual Celebrate the Earth event which offered about 50 different presentations and

draws around 2500 students every year. Our Field students got to extract DNA from their own cheek cells, practice identifying birds and learning about the reasons for bird banding, the importance of wetlands, and facts about recycling👍  Mrs Rincker was nice enough to stop the bus at local favorite Yellin Helen’s on the way back to school too😋 Thank you to Americorps workers, Kenzie and Carson, for helping to chaperone!
